3 Year Limited Warranty
At Etnnic, we design our electric tricycles to be reliable, durable, and safe. All our tricycles come with a 3-year legal warranty covering manufacturing and material defects, in line with current European consumer legislation (Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, as amended by Royal Decree-Law 7/2021).
We want your experience to be smooth and worry-free, so below you’ll find a clear breakdown of what is covered, what’s not, and how to make a warranty claim.
Warranty Coverage
What’s covered
Your Etnnic tricycle is guaranteed for 3 years against any manufacturing or material defect that existed at the time of delivery and appears during the warranty period.
Battery warranty
The battery is covered by a 1-year warranty, excluding normal capacity loss due to typical use.
Consumable Parts (Not Covered)
Consumable parts naturally wear over time and are not covered by the warranty. Examples include (non-exhaustive):
- Brake pads and discs
- Tyres and inner tubes
- Grips and pedals
- Seals, bearings and screws
- Brake or gear cables and housings
- Rubber elements or surface coatings
- Batteries with degradation within normal usage parameters
Warranty Conditions
To submit a warranty claim, customers must:
- Provide a copy of the purchase invoice
- Ensure the tricycle has been correctly used, maintained, and stored, according to the product manual
Etnnic may reject a claim if the defect results from:
- Improper use or negligence
- Lack of maintenance
- Prolonged exposure to moisture or rain
- Modifying the electrical system without authorisation
- Failing to replace wear-and-tear components when required
- Repairs made by non-authorised personnel
- Use of non-original or non-approved parts
- Accidents, impacts or falls
Packaging Requirements for Returns
- If a product or component must be returned for inspection:
- It must be shipped securely protected
- Original packaging is not required, but equivalent protective packaging must be used
- If oversized or inadequate packaging is used, causing unjustified logistics costs, Etnnic may pass these costs on to the customer
How to Make a Warranty Claim
Customers may start a warranty claim by:
- Contacting the dealer where the tricycle was purchased, or
- Contacting Etnnic directly via our website form or customer service email
What happens next:
- You will receive instructions for sending the product or component
- Our technicians will assess the defect
If the issue is covered by the warranty, Etnnic will:
- Repair the component, or
- Replace it with a part of similar characteristics, or
- If neither option is possible, supply an equivalent replacement component
